LIFE fellow since 2016, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

I studied psychology at the University of Lisbon, where I finished my bachelor’s degree in 2011 and my master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology in 2015. For my master thesis, I investigated psychometric properties of a couple relationship scale and the suitability of currently used measurement models for studying such relationships. After graduating I then worked as a research assistant at the Psychosystems research group, University of Amsterdam, from December 2015 to July 2016. Under supervision of Denny Borsboom, I studied how causal relationships between psychological attributes and observed variables can be understood at the intra-individual level. For my doctoral studies, I am now working with Manuel Völkle and Florian Schmiedek to explore the within- and between-subject dynamics of cognitive processes.
