I received my Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Zurich (UZH) in 2025, with a focus on neuropsychology and clinical psychology. Building on this foundation, I recently started my PhD at UZH under the supervision of Nathalie Giroud and Susanne Walitza. In my dissertation project, I investigate how multisensory and neurocognitive brain circuits shape symptom profiles in autism spectrum disorder and how these profiles may help predict therapy outcomes in adolescents and young adults. The project includes a virtual reality intervention designed to support individuals in managing sensory overload. My broader goal is to help bridge neuroscience and clinical practice by supporting the development of more tailored interventions for autistic individuals. My work involves fMRI data, behavioral tasks and questionnaires and is embedded in the “BIMA” project, financed by the UZH University Research Priority Program “AdaBD: Adaptive Brain Circuits in Development and Learning.”
