LIFE Fellow since 2025, University of Zurich
With a professional background as a chef and martial arts instructor, I developed a deep interest in how diverse social environments shape individual differences and human development across the lifespan. This led me to pursue an academic path in psychology. From 2020 to 2025, I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Zurich. During this time, I also gained initial research experience in several positions at the University and the Psychiatric Hospital. In August 2025, I joined Wiebke Bleidorn’s lab as a PhD student and predoctoral researcher. My dissertation work at the department for Individual Differences and Assessment focuses on understanding human development across different societal contexts. Specifically, I investigate personality transactions with (a) civic engagement, such as volunteering, and (b) societal challenges, such as economic instabilities. In addition to these long-term developmental processes, I collaborate on projects examining more fine-grained dynamics of, for example, authentic social interactions or micro life events.
