Anshita Singh

I am a 4th-year PhD candidate in Community Psychology at the University of Virginia. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Delhi, India. My research focuses on social cognition through a social justice lens, with an emphasis on the cognitive factors that shape critical consciousness development in youth in educational spaces. In addition to my research, I engage in community-facing work, including co-creating a podcast on the hidden curriculum in graduate education and supporting ethical data analysis for community organizations. Through the LIFE program, I hope to deepen my training in longitudinal and neuroscientific methodologies to further expand my research.
