I am a PhD candidate in Developmental Neuroscience at the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development. Under the supervision of Nora Raschle, our research team is investigating the intergenerational transfer of socioemotional skills. To achieve this, we employ a comprehensive approach, collecting neuroimaging (MRI), physiological, and behavioral data across entire family units. I am particularly interested in the interactions between the brain and heart during socioemotional experiences, particularly focusing on how these dynamics are shaped by intergenerational transfer. Prior to my doctoral studies, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Brazil, where I am from, followed by a Research Master's in Behavioral Science at Radboud University in the Netherlands.
